Ein Refugium, Traumort, Weltverarbeitungsmaschine, Freizeitspaß, Trost und Spielplatz. Das alles erschuf ich mir mit dem winzigen Tonstudio unterm Dach unseres Hauses. Tontechniker war mein (*1957) erster Beruf ab Lehrbeginn 1973 in der dann langen, 47 Jahre währenden Radiozeit. Damals in den 70ern ahnte niemand, wie komfortabel und platzsparend es einmal sein wird, jeden Klang zu realisieren. Wie wenig es für eine ganze Welt braucht! Hier stelle ich einige Ergebnisse aus, damit sie in der Welt sind und vielleicht Anderen Freude bringen. |
A sanctuary, a dream destination, a machine for processing the world, a source of leisure and fun, a comfort, and a playground. I created all of this with the tiny recording studio under the roof of our house. Sound engineer was my first profession—starting with my apprenticeship in 1973—launching a long career in radio that spanned 47 years. Back in the 70s, no one imagined how convenient and space-efficient it would eventually become to bring any sound to life. How little it takes to create an entire world! I am showcasing some of the results here so that they may exist out in the world and perhaps bring joy to others. |

Es sind nur Echos einer mir immer fremder werdenden Wirklichkeit, die unentwegt nach künstlerischer Reflexion ruft.
Warum, weiß ich nicht.
Sie strömt durch mein Studio und tönt zurück.
Weiter ist nichts.
Nothing here originated from a desire to sell anything.
I do not earn a single cent from it.
They are merely echoes of a reality that seems increasingly alien to me, yet ceaselessly demands artistic reflection.
I do not know why.
It flows through my studio and reverberates.
That is all.
